Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the Safrochain Foundation ("Foundation", "we") handles personal information when you visit our websites, submit forms, or use authenticated portals. It should be read together with our Terms of use.

1. Data controller

The Foundation is the controller for personal data processed through Foundation-operated sites and services described here. For certain processors (e.g. hosting or email delivery), we remain responsible for selecting appropriate safeguards.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:

  • Application and profile data — name, email, country, languages, skills, motivation text, and how you already engage with Safrochain (e.g. social channels), wallet addresses, social links, and similar fields you submit in forms or portals.
  • Account and security data — login identifiers, session tokens, password hashes, and security telemetry (e.g. Turnstile or similar anti-abuse signals where enabled).
  • Program activity — submissions, reports, warnings, payout references, and audit logs tied to your ambassador or staff role where applicable.
  • Technical data — IP address, user agent, approximate timestamps, and cookies necessary for session or preference storage.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use personal information to:

  • Operate applications and portals and communicate about your requests (contract / legitimate interests).
  • Evaluate eligibility and run ambassador or contributor programs (contract / legitimate interests).
  • Detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents (legitimate interests / legal obligation).
  • Comply with law, including sanctions and tax reporting where applicable (legal obligation).

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers under strict instructions (hosting, email, analytics where used), with professional advisers bound by confidentiality, or when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. International transfers

If you are outside the jurisdiction where we operate servers, your data may be transferred internationally. We implement appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

6. Retention

We retain data for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes above, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Some records may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, or port your data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, contact [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
